A warm welcome to Bright Star Pre and Primary School – an outstanding school in the heart of Kigoma, Tanzania. Here you will find a dedicated and talented team of staff, hard-working and engaging pupils along with supportive and proud parents. Together we are a team – together we are Bright Star!

Our pupils are at the heart of all that we do. We provide an exciting, broad and balanced curriculum to inspire and motivate our pupils with opportunities to promote independence, learn life-long skills and to have aspirations for the future.

We have high expectations. Academic achievement is important and our pupils do well – they demonstrate very positive attitudes to learning.

Within a caring and nurturing environment we equip our pupils with the skills to be good citizens, tolerant and respectful of others and confident to face the ever changing demands of society and the world at large.

Our Teaching School designation in 2015 enables us to bring together the best practice from our own school alongside those in the Teaching School Alliance to share with others beyond our school gates.

This website is designed to give a flavour of our school as well as useful information. Please feel free to visit or get in touch.
